University Medical Center is a regional level one trauma center located in New Orleans. This makes the hospital a destination for care when especially grievous injuries are sustained, as in the case of Jada Dupree. Jada was involved in an ATV crash and was brought to the brand new UMC facility to receive life-saving treatment. Calm Dog sat down with Jada and her family and the Doctors involved to tell that story.
